When her magical godmother and namesake Minerva McGonagall turned up at the door of her orphanage to tell her this. Minerva, or Minnie, Potter grew up in Wool's Orphanage on the outskirts of London, living a perfectly ordinary life taking care of the other children in the orphanage and dreaming of a life beyond muggy London. On her eleventh birthday, her wish finally comes true in the form of a secret twin brother and a magic school called Hogwarts. Will her new life be everything she dreamed about, or will her fantasies collapse before her eyes?
