    Cannor Coth is an over-the-hill, out-of-work envoy and erstwhile spy enduring his seventh year of exile from Baldur's Gate, his adopted home city. Along with his old pal Farago, Cannor carves a path westward from the wilderness to the city that will be familiar to BG3 players. This series is Cannor's recounting of what happened to them in the four tendays after infection by mind flayers—the story of how he became a bard.

    This fic is more headcanon/vignettes than the game's major plot beats. It's also my first fic, so please be patient with any associated obliviousness and I'll try to make it worth your while. I'll probably fill in more tags and summary/info when I get a handle on how this site works.
