He can’t even look at his fish anymore without his heart clenching painfully, for fuck’s sake – a nice fucking Christmas is nowhere in sight.

My coffee-shop-centric version of some of the events from Young Royals. Begins the night of Wilhelm's unfortunate trip to the club.
Wilhelm raises his head, takes in bitten-down fingernails, a slightly crumpled barista apron, rolled up sleeves. And then he’s staring like an idiot because the boy in front of him is startlingly pretty – slender and graceful in a way that makes Wilhelm feel like even more of a clumsy oaf. All smooth, honey brown skin and dark mussed curls, and a lazy, impish smile that is doing funny things to Wilhelm’s pulse.

Summary
After the disaster that was his almost-outing (as what exactly?), Wilhelm wants to live a life thats as unscandalous as possible. But, of course, people jump in to ruin that plan, so he decides that inviting his friends to stay at the palace for a week will be a great idea.
Simon wants to finish school without constantly thinking of Wilhelm or the way his arms felt around him. He doesn’t get a chance to do that as pictures of Wilhelm kissing a girl flood the net. Do they get to have a relationship in public when the prince won’t with him?
