Summary
A car accident leaves Jungwoo with partial retrograde amnesia. He wakes up in the hospital, confused and panicked, the only face that feels familiar is Jaehyun’s and his brain registers him as “best friend Jaehyun,” not “boyfriend Jaehyun.”
Jaehyun, devastated but patient, is told not to pressure Jungwoo into remembering. So when Jungwoo asks, “We’re best friends, right?” he nods with a forced smile.
Jungwoo doesn’t remember their first kiss. Their anniversaries. The nights they held each other through anxiety and fear. All he knows is: Jaehyun feels safe.
