Apparently I'm rather good at it. Honestly, it's not that shocking. How am I supposed to stay alive when it's three against an army and we're working off of faulty information? When Mortimer said he was sending me back again, my first response was anger. Yet another Old Man making decisions for my life.
Until I saw the headful of riotous curls on the other side of Death's hallway.
I don't care what they do to me, but they fucked up when the killed Hermione. The next time I die, I'm taking Riddle and all his minions with me.

Summary
A modern day Harry Potter is sent to school armed with a charmed cell phone from his muggleborn mother and the advice from his father that he probably has just enough Veela heritage to recognize the person who is destined to be his partner for life. Its not until 6th year when a transfer student by the name of Hermione Granger makes him think his father may have been right.

Summary
I've seen a lot of Ravenclaw!Hermione stories where the other Ravenclaws, other than Luna, are all but non-existent, and Hermione is a loner in a house where she would have found kindred spirits. While I enjoy those stories, that part doesn't make much sense to me.
So, I present a Ravenclaw!Hermione story where Hermione finds kindred spirits among the other Ravenclaws, and they impact her life and canon events.

Summary
During the Battle of Hogwarts, Harry and Hermione stumble upon the Room of Requirement once more, broken from the Fiendfyre spell used to burn the room to the ground. They feel their magic pull to it, and soon find themselves falling through time and space to 1977.
They wake up in the Hospital Wing and soon find that the world they live in was not the same as the one they left. Without answers to questions, or a plausible way home, there’s nothing for them to do but stay.
Lost through time and space, Harry and Hermione do their best to change the future that they came from, while also trying to ensure certain people end up together.
Then, there’s their own feelings towards each other to consider.
But do they take a chance on their own destiny before they ensure the safety of the wizarding world?

An accident during Auror training sets Harry Potter on the slow realization that he wants to spend the rest of his life helping people - not by arresting dark wizards as an Auror-but by healing and taking care of people.
He goes back for his eighth year of Hogwarts and between Quidditch, learning about healing and Headboy duties makes another life changing realization. The person he wants to take care of the most?
