Summary

“Your ego is way too big,” Diluc says in response. He doesn’t seem too upset about it, though, if the way his gaze is tracking Ajax’s mouth is anything to go by. He lifts his head until their eyes meet again.
Ajax holds his breath, not daring to move, and then Diluc laughs. “Don’t be shy now.”
It’s all he needs to hear. He kisses Diluc desperately, with all the hunger he can manage. This might be the last time he can, might be the last time Diluc will let him, so he has to make this count.

“Surely they’ve told you to keep away from me?” he asks, voice close enough to a sneer for Childe to be able to mistake it as one. “None of the Harbingers like me. I’m untrustworthy and manipulative, if I recall correctly. Your words, Tartaglia.”
It shouldn’t surprise him that his answer doesn’t faze Childe. What does surprise him is the heat curling in his stomach at the sight of Tartaglia’s grin, and the sheer hunger that comes with it. “You even remember the quote word for word,” Ajax says, light and almost teasing. “I didn’t know you paid this much attention to me, Brighella.”
Diluc rolls his eyes.
