Summary
Being the daughter of the local fisherman isn't exactly a glamorous affair.
In the small seaside town of Zaun, it wasn't as though Vi Lane had other options. It was a dying town and it was always gloomy but it was overflowing with fish. Fishing and selling the produce is how the Lane household has managed to stay afloat for so long.
But one day, Vi manages to rescue a naked woman from the beach. She feels utterly drawn to her for reasons she can't explain so despite the risks of bringing a stranger home, Vi feels as though she has no choice.
