It took a further minute or so before Edward Hyde half climbed-half fell into his living room. With much the same level of elegance and dignity, the man wobbled unsteadily on his feet - of course his joints had to choose this of all times to fail him, it was never enough to have one or the other for him after all - before managing to crash right into Utterson with a flurry of equally unsteady laughter.
