“You’ve been in here this whole time?” She groaned, scoffing under her breath, flicking the light on. The flash assaulted Wilson’s vision instantly. His arms flew up and covered his face in self-defense. “What the hell’s gotten into you? First House sleeps on clinic duty, and now you of all people?”
“I was tired,” the oncologist yawned, squinting at the serpentine form that was Cuddy. “Long day.”
“Well, that long day is gonna get longer for both of you. I already banished House to clinic duty today, and I might as well for you.” Cuddy hissed, pinching the bridge of her nose in anguish. House must’ve done something for her to be so wound up.
Wilson’s eyes drifted to the clock, making out the faint outline of the big hand and little hand somewhere between the seven and nine. Shit, when did he fall asleep? Noon? One? He couldn’t recall; he was too busy trying not to think about House and only House.Wilson isn't having the greatest of times, given House decided that stealing from him was legal (somehow), and that the tension between them is borderline daresay romantic.
Still, he has to show up for the bastard.
And somehow, some twisted part of him is starting to like it.

For how much found family is a beloved trope (and hinted at within the series) there is very little found family content of House and Wilson being tired dads to three ducklings with trauma and doctorates (with bonus appearances from mama cuddy ofc) these are one-shots of the silly, fluffy antics of Princeton-Plainsboro's diagnostics team.
