A re-imagining of the Icarus myth where the gods decided to save him and sent Apollo to rescue him after he fell into the sea. The rest of the story follows his life as a disabled man searching for his father, figuring out how to navigate life with his disabilities and changing the myth that is now his legacy. Meanwhile Apollo, after saving him, decides he has a responsibility to watch over him due to his devotion to the gods, and tries to find ways to aid him on his quest.

Erin looked up to see a blonde girl, some of her wild quiff evident from under her helmet, which had a picture of yellow tinted safety goggles stuck on the front. She wore short overalls over a crop top and mismatched socks from under bright green skates. Erin realised she was still kneeling awkwardly on the floor, staring, as the girl winked at her and skated over to Abby, spinning a few times as she continued to dance enthusiastically to the 80s music she was humming.
