   Summary

   Jel, unfortunately, finds himself incredibly attracted towards the town chef. The same one that trouble follows every step he goes, and paves the Path he follows. Jel also finds himself picking up pieces he never noticed, piecing both Reth and his story back together. It's the least he could do, convincing the other man that he's worthy of love.

   Summary

   Drizzts life started out turbulent, and its never stopped being turbulent. However it wont stop him from his few limited goals in life: find a purpose, find where he belongs, resurrect Zak.
   A sort of semi-rewrite of the first 7 trilogies (roughly, ignoring the sellswords and some completely lost books due to AU, then after those trilogies hitting full AU territory) focusing more on the characters instead of the world plot. A much larger focus on Drizzt and the trauma he absolutely should have and him finding his people. Alongside major changes to romantic relationships, mainly because I view Drizzt, Cattie and Wulfgar practically as siblings and siblings should not marry each other.
   Why would i do this to myself? I'm autistic that's why.

   NOTE: as of Sept 2025, I'm reworking and at some points re-writing the earlier chapters and parts of the later chapters, along with some general editing. when this note disappears that's your cue to re-read the fic :)
