Summary
Solaris Black, Sirius's daughter can't cope with what happened during the war and losing her father before she even had time with him. War does things to a person, changes them, and makes them do things without much thinking about the consequences.
After finding a time turner that worked by year rather than hours in the family vault, Solaris goes back in time in hopes of saving her father and Uncle Regulus but fate has other ideas.
With no way back home, Solaris finds herself stranded in 1916 during the Great War - alone and traumatized from her past that hadn't happened yet.
Until she meets a soldier in the trenches.
Why did she torture herself like this? One Wizarding war was bad enough but inserting herself in the muggle war? Why because she was lonely?
Sergeant-Major Thomas Shelby swears it was an angel that saved him from that tunnel collapse. He had no memory of getting out but he was thankful he did.
Then his Angel was there, sitting at the bar in a pub in Paris on Christmas Eve. Maybe it wasn't a hallucination after all.

Summary
It's 1925, three years after River ran away with Newt due to her parents twisting her arm to marry Cantankerus Nott who was willing to pay a very large sum for her hand in marriage. She's returned to England instead of going to America with Newt and is spending her time running wild like a druid and chasing magical creatures rather than facing her family.
She comes across a 3-year-old boy who has run into the woods because of a few mischievous pixies. River takes him into her arms, and little Charlie never wants to leave her side again.
Thomas Shelby is stricken with more grief after his son goes missing in the woods. It's been only a year since Grace was murdered. He was completely unprepared for a little woman to come dancing down his lawn with his son laughing in her arms and completely smitten with her.

Jasmina Charani Shelby - a fucking mouthful if you ask her.
Though if you did, she would laugh because Charani meant Phoenix in Romani. She was a Phoenix that had risen from its ashes. Dramatic, but a fact.
Jasmina used to be Harry. When she was Harry, she was a girl with a cursed life destined for a life of prophecies and unloved and yet praised by the masses for something she never had control over. When Voldemort killed her - finally killed her, she told Dumbledore at Kings Cross to "fuck off" and boarded that train that led to her having a nice chat with Death while she let the train take her to wherever the hell it was.
He asked if she wanted a do-over or do something different or just go on to death. Harry didn't want to be Harry anymore. She was done. She no longer gave a flying hippogriff about any of them because she was just a kid forced to be a savior though all they had ever done was scorn her until it no longer suited them.
But she didn't want to die. She was a kid, and she really wanted for once in her life to have a family who loved her enough to stay with her. To always choose her.
And Death gave her heart's desire.
