Monkey D. Garp stood at the edge of Midway Forest, a rare hesitation halting his movements as he stared at the well worn forest pathway. It had been awhile since he’d come here, over two years if he remembered correctly.
In his right arm hung a sleeping child, belly up with lanky limbs swaying gently with each step. He was snoring loudly and obnoxiously, an oversized straw hat hanging from his neck.
