    When Bruce’s eyes opened, meeting Clark’s gaze, the corner of his mouth tugged up.

     

    There he was.

     

    The man who was now a father to more than he could count on a single hand and a guardian to a whole planet, though he had more help now – with Clark at his side, and to a much greater extent, the League.

     

    Even if he sometimes looked like that twenty-something with too much money and too much faith, that version of Bruce didn’t carry the scars of years of heartbreaking, dogged, foolish determination. That young man hadn’t suffered the years of the infuriating crusade that anyone who loved Bruce had no choice but to believe in because it was a part of Bruce, as much as his arm, or his hair, was a part of him. To love Bruce was to love the angry and frightened little boy who would stop at nothing to make sure no one ever suffered as he did.

     

    And, God, Clark loved him.

    Bruce gets injured, Clark patches him up, and they're in love.

    That's it. That's the fic.

    Sonic hasn't seen or heard from his least favorite hedgehog in weeks, not that he's really complaining.

    When a sudden G.U.N mission (and a lot of bribery) forces him to work together with Shadow, will he be able to suck it up and discover a little more about himself and their friendship, or will he just get a right hook to the face?

    Or maybe something even more...?

    In other words, Sonic and Shadow are forced to go on a gay adventure together, and with the help of their friends are forced to face a couple challenges in their comradeship. Filled with lots of shittily written fluff and a little bit of angst <3
