Summary
“How about this? If we aren’t married by thirty, we marry each other. We’re already best friends, we’ll just be living together. Maybe I can finally get a dog.”
Kara laughed and knocked their toes together. “Okay. A pact then.”
“Sure, why not. A marriage pact.” Lena wiggled her hand out of Kara’s grasp and held it out, the back of it pressing against the outside of Kara’s blanket-covered knee. “Shake on it?”
Kara slipped her hand into hers and shook once in a solid pump. “Deal.”

Summary
Lena Luthor.
Kara runs her fingers over the sharpie marker lettering of her enigmatic co worker's name. This can’t be right.
She twists the paper slightly between her fingers, half expecting it to disintegrate before her very eyes.
Lena Luthor.
Even her name is too elegant to stare at too long.
The CatCo annual holiday party is 6 weeks away, but today is the official secret santa drawing. Kara has been looking forward to it for months, scheming and plotting for the perfect gift to dazzle whoever she should pick. She’s lucky, because most of her coworkers are also her close friends -- and the past 2 years she’s participated, she has always known exactly what to do.
Until now.
OR
Hallmark movie AU in which Kara draws Lena's name in the office secret santa exchange, and decides to create an email account to get to know her in secret. Meanwhile, she gets partnered with a less than thrilled Lena on a work project where the two can't seem to agree on anything. What can go wrong?

Standard 'first word your soulmate says to you is tattooed on your body' except its supposed to be the weird words I could manage. I'm sure I could have gone weirder but this is going to be a 5-ish chapter short story.
