With each breath, each slow inhale, each heavy exhale, Harley tries to empty his brain, grips his pen and brings it down to the page and lets it hover there, focuses on the feeling of his heart, until it’s all he can feel, all he can hear, all he can really comprehend. His heart is making noise, and it’s his job to capture the sound.
