Each emotion that Nero broadcasted in the language of his own was read plain as day by Kyrie. Every little thing that revealed the pain he was in. That was the curse of such intimate familiarity. They could both feel that this fight was hardly an easy choice to make, though there was now a thick shroud of doubt about if the hybrid really ever cared about him at all. The sword Kyrie drew was long and thin, a rapier of sliver of glittering silver metal which ended in an ornate caged handle. Nero was familiar with it; Kyrie’s own cherished sword Chamuel.

Summary
