    Summary

Okarun makes a bad call. A building comes down.

    Nobody gets bitten.

Afterwards there's antiseptic, a maple cereal bar, and an argument about whose hoodie it is. No plot. Just the two of them being idiots in an empty building, the way they always have been, the way they always are. Set during the travelling months.

Anniversary side-story. Slots in around Chapter 6, though it stands alone fine if you've never read the main fic, it's just zombie apocalypse comfort fluff.

Nothing here spoils anything, and nothing bad happens. Promise.

“Wait…so he’s stuck like this until you get back?” Momo stares wide-eyed at Okarun as he sprawls onto the floor.

“Bummer,” he mumbles, black fingernail scratching absently against the tatami mat.

Okarun is stuck in his curse form for the day. Momo might actually have a heart attack.

    Summary

For the first time in years, things are looking up for Ken. He's finally made a friend!
It's a shame the world ends the next day.

Now it's just him and Ayase-san, trying their best to survive as they hole up in her grandmother's house, waiting for the chaos to die down, listening to radio broadcasts chronicle the fall of society.
Days blur into weeks, and with no one else left to rely on, they learn to trust each other and grow closer than either expected. But their supplies won't last forever…

A zombie apocalypse AU very loosely inspired by Left 4 Dead, Written for the Mokarun discord reverse big bang.
