He wants to commit her to memory, to keep treasuring everything there is to her. Her face, her voice, her eyes, her touch, her form, her everything. Everything she is, always has been and what she will be, he wants to remember it, carve every detail deep into his own flesh and soul so even if time itself destroys his mind slowly, his soul will remember her. If he recalls nothing one day, then at the very least he will remember her.

Summary
Two children hope and dream for a better world, and so a plan is set in motion, one which would see divinity wrenched from the Erdtree and given unto a new God. One of the children remains behind, sinking into slumber without reprieve. The other walks a path of crosses seeded with blossoms of golden blood. To the Gate above he goes, where a vow once struck and now completed will see him shed his skin and become a God. For the Age of Compassion. For the dream we had when we were young.
