Background / Before all of this…
Raven accidentally tells Erik that Peter is his son, and Erik realizes that Peter doesn’t want him to know he is a father. So he decides not to tell Peter that he knows. He makes Raven promise to keep it a secret as well—backed by a threat.
Later, Erik begins cooperating with the X-Men, and during this time he starts clashing with Peter. The two argue constantly, and Erik believes Peter’s morals are far too similar to Charles’s. He even blames Peter for it.One night, Erik finally loses control of his anger and locks Peter in a room. Peter can no longer hold himself back and becomes even angrier than Erik. As objects begin to fly, Peter moves at super speed, grabs a knife, slams Erik against the wall, and holds the blade to his throat. Both of them are furious—Peter even more so. In the end, the secret that they are father and son is revealed.
Weeks pass after that day, but neither of their anger fades. So Charles and David try to reconcile their two best friends.
