Summary
"There is no world without sin or hate. What you are doing will take away the choices, the free will, given to all you would govern.” Ansbach jumped over General Radahn's swords, swinging with all he had. If he could land a hit, a grievous hit, he would have gotten farther than he had the first time he challenged Kindly Miquella.
But then again, if he could not best Kindly Miquella as an Empyrean, what hope did he have against a God?

Summary
“Are you able to recall what you had been reading the first time I approached you in the library?”
“Outer Gods,” Ansbach replied. “With a special interest in the Formless Mother.”
“Good.” Mohg gently worked suds into bruised skin. “And so you recall, no doubt, my interest in Her as well.” Ansbach nodded.
“There are not many sources about Her, unfortunate as it is.”
Mohg hummed. “Back when we were in the Grounds,” he started, “my brother and the small one. There were two Gods who reached out to me.”

Summary
Lord Mohg leaned down, and for a brief moment Ansbach thought he'd be devoured. He instead pressed his face against the side of his neck, breathed in Ansbach’s scent just like he himself had earlier. A quiet noise leapt from Ansbach’s throat when his Lord’s tongue scratched over his skin.
“Dear Ansbach,” his Beloved rasped, voice wavering. Ansbach smiled.

Summary
There was a beat of silence. The shock in Lord Mohg's voice had vanished, replaced with accusation. “Did Miquella tell you to do this?”
“My actions here are purely my own, my Lord.” Ansbach stared at a fine crack in the stone floor. He received no answer. “I shall understand if you cannot find it in your heart to forgive me, but it will put my mind at ease to know you have heard my request for it.”

Summary
His Lord hummed, curious. “...How did you come to be in service to the palace with your less than fond opinions on the Order.”
“I used to be a believer of it, before my eyes were opened.” Ansbach gave a small smile. “And they do not need to know anything they do not ask directly about.”
