Summary
This story is a sequel to "Loyalty and Kindness". If you have not read it this will probably make very little sense.
When Marco was a child, Family was a simple concept.
His parents, their crewmates, and their distant relatives. It all made sense.But after officially joining the Whitebeard Pirates Marco becomes aware of the fact that Family can be far more complicated than simply sharing blood.
(Also known as 4 times Marco hears Ace talk about his dad, and then one more time, because i could not get the format to work.)

Summary

Trusting your new family can be hard. Espechially when the sting of betrayal is fresh on your mind.
Jozu is doing his best to trust his new brother after a less than ideal beginning. However when a shoping trip brings back old memories Marco and Jozu ends bonding under unfavourable circumstances.

Summary
Marco is part of the Marines sent to intercept the 2nd division of the Whitebeard pirates as they are dangerously close to making contact with Red-Hair Shanks. The mission is simply to turn them around. How hard could it be?
Well, The marine ship is a training vessel, the sea is filled with small volcanic islands and reefs and Marco is operating on very little sleep.
And lets not forget that the new commander of the 2nd division, "Fire fist" is infamous for torching marine ships that come to close.
What could possibly go wrong?
**The story is set before the Marineford Arc, but contains spoilers for up to the end of the Wano arc**

Summary
Vice-Admiral Marco was a respected marine, and together with his right hand man Izo, they were a force to be reckoned with. However, on an ocean filled with Pirates and Slave-traders even the most respected marines run into problems. Marco just wants to relax on his day off after a long ordeal dealing with Kaido's men, when he sits down to drink in the same diner as a group of Whitebeard pirates. So much for a quiet evening.
