Summary
The world is at war. Three nations stand together against a common enemy, the Fusion Islands.
By March 1921, two of these nations have fallen, consumed by the Fusion war machine as it swept mercilessly across the continent. Only one remains, Synchronia.
Caught up in the fighting, his home destroyed during a Fusion bombing raid, a young Synchro soldier, Yugo, is thrown onto the frontline and into the trenches. Angry and afraid, he has little to live for, let alone fight for. That is, until a chance encounter with a fiercely loyal Fusion soldier has him questioning his morals, his allegiance... and his heart.
This is a Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V Pawnshipping fanfic set during a fictional wartime AU (I drew inspiration from both world wars, but it has no real link to either other than certain concepts and the period in general). Any dates or events I've included are of course entirely fictitious. Additional tags are to be added as the story progresses. I will also update the story's rating, archive warnings and characters as I go along.

In search of the perfect upgrade for his bike, Yuugo has accidentally got into debt with some rather shady people. He's pretty sure they're going to kill him any second. Now he's got a summer job in a cafe he's pretty sure is a front for criminals and definitely full of them. But he'll do anything to clear this debt before his time is up.
