It’s easy to revel in the current state of his life like this— a stable income, a roof over his head, a warm bed to sleep in, a beautiful wife to come back to. If Gojo were still around, he would probably tease Megumi for being able to get his life together so fast. But in truth, it wasn’t Megumi who did this, really. Life just seems to keep bringing him good things for some reason, though it has given him just as many that are bad.
So for that, part of him thinks Gojo would be proud. He’d be bewildered that Megumi decided to get married so young, and especially at the fact that he actually allowed himself to settle down with someone, but he’d be proud. At least, Megumi hopes he would be.
This is a luxury that Gojo never got to have, and Megumi isn’t sure it’s even one that he wanted. For that alone, Megumi supposes it is unfair to be anything other than grateful for all he has. Some people didn’t get this luxury.
