Summary
Trikru, an elite secret government agency that deals with dangerous criminals and organizations, has a new mission. The group led by Lexa Woods will infiltrate The Ark, the company where Jake Griffin worked on Polaris, a personal project of his to bring clean energy at low cost. His enemies murdered him with no evidence left behind, with Polaris nowhere to be found.
Now, Lexa and team will have to find Polaris and keep his family safe until they can retrieve the program and deliver it to safe hands.
In the middle of all this, Lexa will meet Clarke Griffin, the grieving daughter of Jake Griffin, and will realize that the mission might not necessarily be everything she has left.

Swallowing past the ever growing lump in her throat, Lexa forces herself to say something — because they’ve agreed on this: no hiding, no lying, no shouldering things alone, only open dialogue could give them a fighting chance. “This feels like crossing a line.”
Clarke doesn’t answer right away, tightening her grip around Lexa. It helps, it always does. It keeps her from crumbling, and it only just manages to do the job now. When Clarke speaks, her voice is small. “Haven’t we crossed all of them already?”
“You know what I mean,” Lexa says, peeling her eyes from the white clogs that don't belong to Clarke and turning around in her arms. She keeps her hands on Clarke’s forearms — anything more than this, and it’ll be a lost battle. Not for the first time, Lexa tries to make Clarke see reason, pleads for her to be the rational one between the two of them. “This is your apartment, your bed. Her bed.”

Family holidays are made a bit awkward when you're always forced to be around the girl who cold-shouldered your "I love you" with a three-month bout of silence. But man is it even more so when there are not enough rooms for everyone at the hotel that was booked and you get stuck sharing a bed with that same sort of ex who is trying their very best to get back to the friendship that you once shared. None of it's that bad really, it's really easy to mold over the past, make things easy for each other since you'll see each other for every major family event.
