This story follows the uneasy aftermath of Renoir’s crusade against the Canvas. Renoir has relented, and the fate of the world he once sought to destroy now rests in Maelle’s hands. The fighting is over, but, as Clea might put it, the world does not stop simply because the family is mourning.
Caught in their orbit is someone who walks the fragile line between Writers and Painters.
