Levi’s head snapped up, and he looked at Lucifer with wide eyes.

Based off the idea that the bros can feel it when someone nearby is strongly feeling their sin. Lucifer notices that soon after the beginning of Levi and MC’s relationship, Levi begins skipping meals. He takes it upon himself to investigate.
