    The king would host a tournament, the princess told him on their daily stroll to the palace forest. A tournament celebrating the birth of his new heir, a boy.

    The princess’ smile faltered as she spoke, but the knight did not notice as he was already planning his opening moves for the jousting tournament. The knight knew this was the opportunity he had been craving for so long.
