After somehow surviving for at least 24 hours in Strade's basement, Angelina Torres, a domestic feline beastkin, finally got her hands on a knife. She managed to hide it from Strade long enough for Ren to come visit her in the basement, and she quickly regrets trying to fight her way out of captivity. She didn't want to hurt Ren, but she wasn't gonna pick a total stranger over her own well-being, no matter how nice he acts. IBM and Crypton Future Media are competitors in this alternate universe for selling the best machines and making the most advancements in artificial intelligence. Both companies had finally put their differences aside and decided to run a joint experiment in allowing both of their prized programs the opportunity to speak to each other and share the things that they've learned about each other and the value of humanity. While this may be a soulless cash grab attempt to their respective companies, Hatsune Miku and IBM 7094 decide that playing family together might have more sentimental value than that.

Summary
Simon Henriksson led a pretty miserable life so far. As hard as he tried, he just couldn't connect to anyone. He's always been alone, and he thought that was the life he would live until he died. Whether that was from old age or suicide. But when a girl bumps into him during school and treats him kindly, he starts to spiral. All the emotions that he kept bottled up for so long started to bubble up. This was the first time anyone besides his mother showed him any affection, and he wasn't about to let her go. He needs her. He knows that she could complete him. Save him from the monotonous gray that colored his life since he was born. They would be perfect together. He'll make her see that. No matter what it takes.
