HELLO AND WELCOME TO MY CORNER OF THE INTERNET
I write Frerard. Mainly in genres like thriller, horror, crime and romance, and mostly set in the 70s, 80s and 90s. I don't see many people doing this so I hope this isn't TOO niche. Besides, horror is more interesting when there's no cell phones.
I love music. A LOT. And I listen to almost everything. Wanna vibe to 80s synthpop? I got you. Wanna mosh to metalcore and emo? Also got you. Wanna listen to 90s rap then 60s blues? Let's do it! Obviously, my favourite band is MCR, but I also love Queen and the Beatles.
I also really love books and movies. Mainly thrillers but I also enjoy classics. And 80s films is where it's at, and silent films are bomb.
Other than that, my interests are kind of all over the place. I play the guitar, piano and bass. I also play an unhealthy amount of GTA 5, but only story mode because I'm scared of playing online. I also collect vintage records. I grew up in the 2000s but my parents were very anti-technology so I was raised like a 90s kid.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy my stories! I post more announcements on my Wattpad account (@dr0wn1ng-less0ns), but I'm currently working on a full-length Frerard for the first time. It's called Diary of a Detonator, it's a crime thriller set in early 80s England, and it's gonna be great. I'm doing multiple drafts and editing and everything!
