Sometimes well into the evening or even the early morning hours of the next day, Na-kyum would be roused from a tormented slumber to gather his brushes and paper (a flimsy pretense; Na-kyum rarely worked on painting these days while in Yoon Seungho’s chambers) and tremulously approach the darkened room wherein he always felt utterly overwhelmed.
