In the years leading up to Chenle's first heat, Mark was his rock. His guidance. The person that Chenle loved and relied on the most. Chenle needed him more than ever during his heat, but that was the one time that Mark's help wasn't permissible.
Chenle came out of his heat a brand new omega, with a brand new outlook on life. Also, with a brand new outlook on Mark that brought him great, great, shame.
Four years later, those feelings come to a head.

Summary
When Chenle's best friend Mark decides to take a year off to do charity work abroad, he leaves him with an unfamiliar alpha roommate and a now defunct plan to be mated by 30. Chenle is instantly turned off by everything about Jaemin, but he promises Mark he'll at least try to get along with him. Getting used to their new living situation and each other won't be easy and Chenle and Jaemin are both about to learn that there's a fine line between love and hate and no amount of planning can tell you on which side you'll end up.
