The demon finally spoke with a voice that would have surely shaken Yuji's core if he wasn’t already so annoyed by the snow that came without warning. The weatherman on the news never mentioned the slightest chance of snowfall. It was already bad enough he’d been wandering the woods on his own, but to become lost while the sky dusted the ground in a blanket of white had only made him wish he would have just stayed home.
And now he was in the presence of a demon. A very pissed-off demon, who looked none too pleased with the person before him.
“I, uh…” A bead of sweat rolled down Yuji’s neck. Domain? Did the demon mean the estate? “Walked, well stumbled, actually, and found… it?”

“I love you.” Sukuna whispers against Yuuji’s skin, softer than flowers. Yuuji cracks and breaks. Because he wouldn’t have married a man he didn’t love or even like. And that means he forgot about his husband, and yet he still so willingly loves Yuuji. As if he doesn’t care that Yuuji forgot.
“Stay.” He shushes, nosing along Yuuji’s cheek like a lover. He supposes they might be. “We should go back to bed.”
In a daze, Yuuji only nods.[] Sukuna wins, Yuuji cannot remember what he was fighting for in the first place.

"Why do you not use the powers I gave you?"
"You gave me powers?" The poor joke was received with not a laugh but a flick on the forehead. Sukuna could do much worse, but he'd rather keep the brat moving as they entered the market district. "Well, you know, there just hasn't been a good time to debut them yet… And punching and kicking comes so naturally! I gotta play to my strengths in a fight, right?"
No amount of mock jabs or chops in the air would convince Sukuna to accept such a lousy excuse. The truth was easier to understand, but that did not equate to Sukuna's acceptance of it. A fighter who suddenly sprouts magical aptitude was not something most adventuring parties could overlook. The powers Yuji gained were not natural either, nor would they manifest in the same way as the innate divine spark of his heritage. The chances of harsh judgment, perhaps not from his direct peers but from the rest of the guild, would be high.
However, who were they to cast said judgment?
❤ Warlock Patron Sukuna wants to get Yuji a gift. Unfortunately, he sucks at gift-giving.
