Summary
Following the disastrous Chuunin exam of Suna’s cooperation with Orochimaru, Akasuna no Sasori swipes the empty mantle of Kazekage and dissolves the alliance with Konoha. Ten years later, the world is about to be at war, and Sasori is willing to revive his relationship with the Leaf Village under one condition.
They must send him a bride.
When Ino is demanded, Sakura can’t just sit by and allow her best friend to be sacrificed to a monster like him, so she volunteers to go in the other woman’s stead. She is elated when the Kazekage agrees.
Little does Sakura know that Sasori never acts without an ulterior motive.
