Summary
The problems with fucking the Chief Justice were many and varied, but most of them weren’t a significant issue most of the time. Most of the time, it was just whatever—they couldn’t do things in public because the Iudex had to always be impartial in public. They never had proper dates because the Iudex couldn’t be seen to date. The affairs of the state would always come before personal affairs, which was just as true for Wriothesley as it was for Neuvillette. In fact, of all the regular roadblocks they ran into, the only one which really annoyed Wriothesley was this: finding any amount of time to spend together was fucking impossible.
