He’s draped in heat, under an umbrella in a bright patterned shirt, large waffle with a dollop of melting whipped cream and a coffee-stained mug on the table in front of him. Further out on the patio, a whole group of screaming kids jump into the pool in sonorous succession.

Zoro gives him one of those multilayered grumpy looks.

You get sliced by a six-armed swordsman, you eat a bad fish, you break a few ribs—you take a nap, and when you wake up, things are better. So that’s what Zoro expects every morning when he wakes up on deck to an eerily quiet ocean; it’s just that Sanji isn’t snapping out of it.

Blinking sluggishly, Max snaps out of it and raises his eyes to meet Bradley’s, a light pink dusting the bridge of his nose. “...Sorry, what?”
Bradley groans loudly, shaking his head. “Exactly how much have you had to drink, baby?”
