Summary
After Beren meets with Finrod to call in his debt and request aid in recovering a Silmaril, Finrod goes to find his cousins. He meets with Celegorm and Curufin thinking about oaths, love, family, and the ways in which they have all, as he warned Beren, become ensnared.

Summary
Atlesian Special Operatives are trained field agents. Qrow Branwen is something entirely different. Almost all of the missions he's sent on wouldn't (couldn't) be given to a Special Operative, as both he and Ozpin are painfully aware. And not only because he's part of Ozpin's very small, select group. He just tries to ensure that the things that happen when he's away don't make their way back home. Usually it works.
Part the first: Winter's day takes a turn for the worse. The person responsible (unsurprisingly): Qrow Branwen. The cause, however, is nothing she would have expected.

Summary
Turgon wakes in the Halls of Mandos after the fall of Gondolin. Fëanor is watching his arrival, and they have a pointed conversation about Valar, choices, and Noldor. Fencing words with Fëanor is never an easy task, and despite Turgon's best efforts his uncle's views and his pointed comparison of them begin to sound not only plausible but entirely correct.
