Summary
Come the new year, I started reading Game of Thrones fanfictions, and I decided to write one of my own.
This is my first ever one, so feel free to give whatever criticisms you think are necessary.
And there are plenty of "what ifs" in this:
What if Ned sent Robb to King's Landing to learn under Jon Arryn?
What if Jon Arryn sent for his great-nephew Harrold Hardyng to get to know his great-nephew better?
What if Arianne Martell was sent to King's Landing to "case the joint" for House Martell?
And finally, what if Theon chose to support the family that he felt a part of rather than the family that scorned him back home?I make no apologies for my bias towards Robb Stark, he is my favourite character and deserved better than what he got.
I decided to go with Robb Stark and Arianne Martell because they seem to be a rarely-used couple and when I got planning and read a few other fanfictions online, I thought that this would fit perfectly.Well, enjoy, and like I said, feel free to give whatever criticisms you think are necessary.

Summary
Eddard Stark swore that he'd never allow his family to be destroyed again. After the Rebellion, the North has been closed off, working towards making it strong once more. That is until the King comes a-calling for him to serve as his Hand. Eddard, and his family, must be smart enough to survive, but will they recognize themselves by the end of it?
I have replaced Jon Snow with a true born second son of Eddard. This is a North-centric story.
Never read ASOIAF (I know, I suck), so this is off what I know from Show what other stuff I know from the fandom.
