Summary
“You really should consider changing that name,” Eonwe comments with a thoughtful frown. “Nazgul. It hardly goes with your… current status.”
“Jailed?” Mairon asks, eyes flickering to Eonwe even as the rest of him does not move. He remains still, almost deathly so, not permitting a single muscle in his body to move.
“Reformed, Mairon, please.”
—
A Fourth Age What-If story where Mairon is captured some time after his defeat at the end of the Third Age and imprisoned within a tower in Valinor. The only problem is that even after his sentence is officially served, he refuses to come down. NOT 'canon' to the Tides of War series.

Summary
The making of the Rings of Power was a monumental project stretching over many hundreds of years, and which involved an uncountable number of experiments and prototypes along the way as Celebrimbor and Annatar all but invented the craft of ring-making from whole cloth and consequently reshaped the world around them.
Not all of those prototypes were pleasant to test; but sometimes, pleasure can be found even in the darkest of shadows. And sometimes, what is truly being tested might not be the rings at all…
The Rings were theirs. It was only fitting that they be the ones to test this, together.
Celebrimbor looked up. "What must I do?" he asked.
"Resist," said Annatar.
*Story has been separated into: chapter one - ring-lore; chapter two - (light) torture; and chapter three - the bedroom; so that those who are unsure of some of the subject matter can ease into things according to their individual comfort level.

Summary
His Song is one of order.
His Song speaks of precision.
His Song is perfection; very much befitting a craftsman.
His Song is Aulë’s, and in his halls it resonates since the very first time their doors swing open in Almaren. Until one day – another melody creeps in, and it becomes more and more difficult to keep the old rhythm…
