“Mmhmm,” says Sarah, and when Sam can tear his gaze away from Bucky, he sees that she’s fixing him with a sweetly compassionate gaze. He readies himself for some no-nonsense sisterly wisdom. In tones of deep sympathy, she says, “And you’re horny about it.”
Sam grits his teeth and grips the arms of his lounge chair. “I’m so horny about it, oh my god.”
Bucky is finally ready to make amends with himself, and specifically his body, but he might need to enlist some help. If that help involves kind of, sort of tricking an overworked Sam into doing some self-care and having some fun of his own, so much the better. Sam, meanwhile, is happy to help, it's just that helping Bucky is turning out to have the inconvenient side effect of falling for him too.

“I have no idea!” says Bucky. “I—I opened the door, and she was there, and there’s a bunch of other stuff—shh, shh honey, it’s alright, it’s okay—”
Sam goes to the still-open door, keeping the shield up and covering his center mass just in case anyone’s about to attack. He peers carefully up and down the hallway, but it’s empty save for a baby’s car seat or carrier sitting on the floor, along with two huge mint-green diaper bags and…a bouquet? With balloons? The balloons, Sam notes with confusion and dawning alarm, say CONGRATS! IT’S A GIRL!
“Who the fuck left us a baby?” asks Sam.
Sam and Bucky never planned on becoming dads. It turns out that life, and Zemo, have other plans for them.

Summary

What’s meant to last weeks turns into months as Steve not only begins to love Peter and Morgan, but their widowed weapons manufacturing father as well. As Steve becomes an integral part of the Stark household, he begins to heal from his past trauma. And- the Starks need him too.
