"Han fucking Jisung..."
Chan nods at his friend. "Yep. Him again. How many times have you gotten his name by now?"
Changbin groans and puts the letter down, rolling his chair back to get up. "I've lost count."
That was a lie. He remembers all the letters he's gotten for this human.
"That guy just can't seem to die…" Chan gets up as well, slowly making his way towards the door of the office as he looks upwards, hands on his hips. "His stupid Guardian Angel always makes our work even more complicated."
"Yeah…" Changbin grabs his leather jacket, an uneasy feeling settling in his stomach. "Stupid Guardian Angel..."
Or Changbin is a Grim Reaper who keeps having to collect the soul of the same human over and over again yet every time he goes back to Hell, his hands are empty. I wonder why this human still isn't dead yet despite being in danger so much?

Summary
A nice winter vacation in the mountains is exactly what Minho needs to start anew. As Minho struggles to define his new relationship, unresolved tension resurfaces and Minho finds himself torn between the stability he has with Hyunjin and the indisputable happiness he feels with Chan.
or, Minho meets his ex-boyfriend Chan at a winter resort and his fiancé Hyunjin doesn't appreciate it - especially not when Minho pays more attention to Chan's son than to him.

Summary
Xaden Riorson thought he had figured out how to survive in this place. Now in his final year at Basgiath War College, he’s risen to the rank of Wingleader. He is focused on one thing: getting every kid of the rebellion bonded to a dragon. Then the real work can begin.
But he hadn’t counted on Violet Sorrengail, the General’s daughter, entering the Rider’s Quadrant. She’s not supposed to be here and she’s about to throw every plan he has made into chaos. Can he trust her? And more importantly, can he trust himself?
This follows the dialogue and events of Rebecca Yarros’s Fourth Wing, retold from Xaden’s perspective. This was written prior to the release of Iron Flame, so all theories and speculation are my own and unconfirmed. It's my best guess at exploring how Xaden might have felt throughout the story and features new scenes with Liam, Garrick, Imogen, Sgaeyl and Tairn. Major plot spoilers from the very first chapter.

Summary
After my second read of Fourth Wing, I couldn't help but think about what the events might look like from Xaden's POV. Here's what I'm imagining :)
Edit: this has kind of become my companion to the novel, where you can read a chapter in the book and then the corresponding chapter here to get Xaden's perspective without any major spoilers. It's been so fun to imagine the relationship between Xaden and Sgaeyl while still trying to maintain some suspense and tension for the reader :)
This is the first thing I've written in probably 15 years and I kind of can't believe I finished it, even though that was always the goal. Thank you so much to everyone who has read any amount of it -- without the kudos and comments I'm not sure it ever would have made it past the first couple of chapters. Thank you for making this exploration of Violet and Xaden's universe that much more enjoyable!
