    Since Shauna beat Lottie within an inch of her life no one had even looked in Shauna's direction in fear of setting her off again.

    Which Shauna thought was wise, she felt like she was on a knife's edge, ready to just go feral at any given moment. There was one person Shauna had noticed who, apparently, wasn't as wise as the rest of them.

    Shauna had actually forgotten Melissa was here, she only took note of her again the night Shauna almost killed Lottie.

    The reason Melissa stuck out to her that night was the way she was watching Shauna as it all unfolded. There had been various reactions that night; from Natalie's shock and despair to Van's disgust, and some reactions in between.

    But Melissa's reaction stood out to her; there was no fear, no shock or disgust. Shauna didn't get to look long enough to decipher exactly what she was seeing in the girl's eyes, but there was definitely a spark there that stuck Shauna.

    I started writing this right after 3x2 so the timeline is way off but I'm rolling with it.
