Summary
After one nearly tragic night at The Last Drop, Piltover Academy student Caitlyn Kiramann finds herself despising a certain bartender for all the wrong reasons: she's nice to her, she gives her free drinks, and she calls her Cupcake.
In a useless attempt at trying to avoid her at all costs, fate keeps bringing her closer to Vi as they learn more about each other's contrasting worlds. It wasn't the winter break Caitlyn expected, but she found herself oddly drawn to that unique and captivating bartender-I mean, BAR.
When their dreams start clashing with their stark realities, however, the two become entangled in a web of conflicts during a time of peace. Decisions must be made that will either bring them together or tear them apart.
To Caitlyn, there’s nothing jolly about an angsty Christmas. Especially when there are more important matters to focus on, like helping her overbearing mother plan for a winter banquet.
Feeling lost and running on nothing but hot chocolate and sugar cookies, she finds herself torn between two worlds, her future and life hanging in the balance.
But hey, at least she gets free drinks from that hot bartender.

Summary

When a documentary about the worst of the film industry brings Vi back into the spotlight, as well as Caitlyn's life, old strings of loathing and attraction resurrect, tugging them with the same strength they held all those years ago.

Caitlyn panicked, feeling extraordinarily unprepared having been thrust into her new position without so much as even a handbook to consult. What were the formalities? What was she supposed to respond with? Where was the damn push to talk button…
“Hellooo? I said Houston, do you copy?”
Caitlyn fiddled with her headset, having finally found the green button on the side and hastily letting out a rather breathless reply. “Um, yes. Hello? This is Houston. I copy.”
There was a long pause in which Caitlyn sat twiddling her thumbs, anxiety pushing the frantic pulse of her heartbeat through her eardrums. Was that wrong? Did she already fuck up? She took a steady deep breath, finger hovering over the talk button until the familiar voice of the astronaut came through her headset once more.
“Damn, Houston. I didn’t expect you to sound so sexy.”
OR
Caitlyn has been assigned as the personal capcom to one of the astronauts currently on a year long expedition at the international space station. Cue long months of pining and desperate longing.
