Summary
Like all of you, I'm sure, my heart skips a beat every time I see Hannibal's head appear at the end of S3E6. How quickly must AC have ridden there?! Can you imagine the urgency, the emotional turmoil, the relief while he raced to catch CH? I also wanted to see that conservation between Leo and AC because I just adore Leo and I would have loved to have seen more of the father/daughter bond they had fostered that final season.
I decided then, that I might try to write a fic of that conversation at the stables and then the race on Hannibal towards the cliffs. But life got in the way and I simply couldn't finish this. I got as far as the conversation but couldn't find the words to do the rest of it justice: the language to describe the land and... horse stuff.
So apologies for the abrupt ending - but I'm taking the #30DaysofHeybourne opportunity to put it out here. Thanks for reading and thanks to everyone who writes Heybourne and brings joy to those of us who need the escape.
