Summary
Major Summer Henderson didn't survive the Army Ranger Regiment or leave a trauma fellowship just to blindly follow a man who thinks he knows better. She knows the math of survival, she reads crisis situations effortlessly, and she isn't afraid to trust her own instincts over a direct order.
Captain Robert Sullivan demands absolute authority. He doesn't appreciate rookies who think they know better, no matter how impressive their résumé. He's determined to break her habits; she's determined to survive his probation.
But working side-by-side in the high-stakes world of Station 19 makes it impossible to keep their distance. As the shifts wear on, the rigid boundaries they’ve built between duty, control, and authority begin to blur into a deep, dangerous respect, and a quiet attraction neither of them saw coming.
