Summary
A small smirk appears on Kayn's face and it never foreshadows anything good. “I just thought you had some... ulterior motives as well. The lead guitarist: he seems very much your type.”
Lukai Hwei, a young, classically trained guitarist, discovers a new face of music.

Summary
Yone looks at him and then pauses. He gives him an unsubtle once-over.
Kayn knows what he looks like—he has marks all over his neck and collarbones. His crop top does nothing to hide the hand-shaped bruises. He feels strangely panicky. The swirl of self doubt resurfaces along with shame.
“I fucked your brother,” he blurts out.
OR
Kayn does what he does best: wants what he can't have, and self-destructs.

Summary
Yone didn't join Heartsteel to develop a terrible crush at the boyishly young age of forty, but clearly, Shieda Kayn is what happens when he's busy making other plans. He is determined to ignore these feelings in favor of living in relative normalcy.
Nevermind the fact that the feelings have decided to extend beyond just Kayn. And double nevermind the increasingly hard to miss signs that they are not as unreciprocated as he's convinced himself. Yone's way too old for this.
...right?

Summary
After Heartsteel's debut, Kayn finds out rooming with his bandmates can lead to some bad but mostly good life changes, whether that is testing his patience or falling in love. Also Rhaast is here to humour him.
(This story is the result of endless boredom at school and my Kayn/Yone obsession. Enjoy!)

Summary
Yone gradually loses confidence in his skills as a producer and becomes disillusioned with the music industry as his songs continue to flop and the artists he collaborates with have no passion for music, just money. When Yasuo's band, True Damage releases a hit, it makes Yone feel even worse. He's ready to distance himself with music altogether, but a mysterious man at a party for True Damage seems to know all the right words to say to fix Yone's skepticism. Because of this fated encounter, Yone continues making music though only by his terms, hoping to meet that man again. Then Heartsteel comes along. They're so goofy, honest, and passionate, it's hard for Yone to decline their offer of producing for them. He finds his passion again through the members of Heartsteel, surprised the most by the wild bad boy rapper himself, Kayn.
