“you're joking right?”
“Nope, todays the day! Rise and shine my dear; you’ve been at Hogwarts far too long for you to have never played a game of Quidditch before.”
That was how Minerva found herself being dragged across the grounds at 7 in the morning in the middle of winter, with a broom clutched in her gloved, yet still somehow painfully frozen hand.
“Come on it’ll be fun!” Poppy shouted as she ran ahead, skipping gleefully with her red and gold Gryffindor scarf trailing nonchalantly behind her in the breeze. Her feet left a wake of cleanly stamped footprints in the otherwise undisturbed carpet of pristine snow.
