Summary
This short story takes place 6 years after the movie's ending. I have no experience with how German Polizei works, so all errors are mine. First time writing, so I would love to hear your honest feedback.
It will be a short story, no more than 10 chapters for sure. So I hope you enjoy.

It’s been 6 years since Kay left, and Marc hasn’t moved on. He decides to throw himself into work and start preparing to become a detective, all while trying to be a good father to his 6 year old son, Benno.
Meanwhile, Kay has been moving from city to city trying to forget Marc. It isn’t until he’s living in Berlin that he finds colleagues who support him, and he may even consider them a family. But what will happen when a late-night call brings an unexpected twist?
Most of this story will be told by Marc’s POV, unless marked at the beginning.
