But when Rey inadvertently gets captured by the First Order, Kylo Ren doesn't quite know what to do about it. Needing to know how she feels about him, a crazy, desperate idea pops into his head. Summary
Takes place after the Battle of Crait.
Rey had almost brought back Ben Solo, but lost him when Kylo Ren offered her his hand. But he's still in there somewhere, and she's determined to find him again. She just hopes they don't kill each other first.Chronicles their story (as it would've been nice to have seen it) as they go from enemies, to friends and more. VERY SLOW BURN. But when the fuse is lit, it burns HOT!!

There’s a nagging voice in the back of her head telling her to take Ben’s hand, outstretched towards her, the destruction of Snoke’s throne room glowing around them.
“Please,” He whispers, dark eyes pleading, his trembling outstretched fingertips a sort of peace offering - a promise.
“Take off your glove,” Rey commands, and there’s a flash of confusion in Ben’s eyes before he pulls his hand back and rips off the glove, just like he’d done that night through their Force bond. And Rey is looking at Ben Solo again.
She places her fingertips in his palm.

Rey takes Ben's hand when he offers it to her onboard the Finalizer. But a series of miscommunications and misunderstandings, hurt and betrayal, their plans for each other go awry. Giving into the urge and desire for her had been a moment of weakness on his part.
They’d been sparring. Rey had managed to mend Anakin Skywalker’s lightsaber and being the only Force user around, he’d agreed to practise, seeing that he was on the Light side and all.
Somehow, it’d led to playful goading and he’d managed to corner her against a pillar of the room. Rey was flushed, cheeks pink, eyes sparkling and she’d been laughing that tinkling laughter that caused his heart to skip a beat.

Rey shouldn’t think about him, let alone miss him, but she does.
Three months have passed since the Battle of Crait and yet, the inner conflict that breathes within her still burns.
She can’t quite figure out this entire Jedi business, nor can she quite resist reaching out to him even though they’re on different sides in the war. The distance of time and space between them should be enough proof of that, but still, Rey can’t ignore the pull between him and her.
She should have known that nothing could really separate them. She would be an idiot to try it anyway.
After all, through the Force bond that they share, they are one.
