Fuck… Just listen to me, okay?” He bites down onto his lips again, glistening with saliva, red and swollen, and Yoo Joonghyuk just wants to pry those lips open with his own fingers, to stop his teeth from biting down onto his own flesh. “How… about this…? A compromise. We can do this, alright? If you sleep with me once, you’ll realize. That your feelings aren’t permanent. That they aren’t real. You’re smart, aren’t you? You’ll realize… Joonghyuk-ah. You have to come to your senses after this.”
Born to be a successor to the throne, Yoo Joonghyuk shatters all expectations presented towards him by pursuing Kim Dokja.

“Hey.” Kim Dokja leaned down in front of Yoo Joonghyuk, staring at the bastard who still pointedly refused to meet his eyes. He’d grabbed onto Yoo Joonghyuk’s chin, leaning closer. “Your name, your location—all of this information, aren’t you curious how I know it?”
Yoo Joonghyuk scoffed, jaw tightening. “You won’t tell me.”
Kim Dokja laughed. “Who said I wouldn’t? I’m just like you, Joonghyuk-ah. A transmigrator. And… I know how to return us back to our original worlds.”
Of course, he really didn’t—the original novel didn’t detail such a thing in its ending at all—but it was best to give a man some hope, right? Give a man some hope, and he’ll follow you until he realizes you’re lying…? Was that the saying?
Kim Dokja tells a half-truth to get the protagonist on his side, after being isekai’d as a minor villain. That half-truth ends up causing his downfall.
